Asahi Breweries to build new factory Tosu city industrial park

Approximately 17.5 hectares on the south side of the approximately 27 hectares of the "New Industrial Cluster Area Tosu" industrial complex in Kozu-cho, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, where Asahi Breweries' new Kyushu factory (tentative name) is scheduled to be constructed. The conclusion of a construction contract between Tosu City and a construction contractor was approved at an extraordinary meeting of the city council on the 31st. The contract amount is 1.9 billion million yen. The new Kyushu plant is scheduled to start operations in 2026.

The industrial complex will be developed jointly by Saga Prefecture and Tosu City. The construction will be carried out by a joint venture (JV) of three companies selected by Asahi Breweries: Maeda Road Kyushu Branch (Fukuoka City), Maeda Corporation Kyushu Branch (Fukuoka City), and Kuriyama Construction (Tosu City).
