Domestic flights during Obon holidays recover to 80%, highway traffic to 90% of pre-corona

On the 17th, airline companies announced the usage figures of the Obon period (from 6th to 16th). Although it was in the middle of the seventh wave of the new coronavirus, there were no restrictions on movement for the first time in three years, and domestic flight usage reached around 80% of the level before the corona disaster.

On domestic flights, All Nippon Airways had 1,271,864 passengers, about 1.8 times the previous year, and Japan Airlines Group had 1,105,319 passengers, about 2.1 times the previous year. On the 14th, the number of users per day was the highest since the corona disaster.
