Ten years have passed since the Rakuten Group adopted English as the "official language" within the company. While they have hired and trained people who are proficient in English to expand their business, there are still issues to be addressed. I would like to point out the significance of Japanese companies' efforts to introduce English in the company as corporate lingo like Mitsubishi Corporation, Nissan Motors, Fast Retailing (Uniqlo), Takeda Pharmaceutical and Sharp.
