Nagasaki trams, significantly reduced from 88 to 24 runs, due to decreased passengers

Nagasaki Electric Tramway will significantly reduce the number of tram on Route 4 (Hotarujaya - Sofukuji) from September 1, as it will be difficult to maintain the unprofitable route due to the decrease in the number of tram passengers.

The number of trams on this route will be reduced from the current 88 to 24, and the operating hours will be only between 7:00 am and 9:00 am and between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

"Nishihamacho" and "Nagasaki Ekimae" will be added to the IC transfer tram stop from the same day in order to mitigate the decline in convenience. If you transfer to a different system at both stops, you can use the train for a single fare (140 yen for adults, 70 yen for children).
