New condominium units sold in the Tokyo metropolitan area hits 2,268 units in July

The real estate economic research institute announced on the 22nd that the number of new condominium units sold in the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba) in July was 2,268 units, an increase of 16.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, the first increase in three months.
By area, Tokyo's 23 wards increased by 10.8% to 1,033 units, Kanagawa Prefecture increased by 19.2% to 577 units, and Saitama Prefecture increased significantly by 2.1 times to 410 units. On the other hand, there was little new supply, and sales in the first period were only about 60% of the same month last year. The average price per unit fell 1.8% to 63.79 million yen.
