"Nostalgic" becoming "cute". Recycle shop "BANUL" (Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture), which specializes in antique and vintage furniture, celebrated its sixth anniversary this year, and sales have increased fivefold. The trend is driven by Showa retro furniture that is popular among the younger generation.

It is operated by Wai Group, a company that collects and buys disused items. President Yoichiro Wakayama (43) established it in 2014 and opened Banul in 2016.
