Tokio Marine HD's new head office building uses highly fire-resistant domestic wood

Tokio Marine Holdings has unveiled the design of its new head office building to be rebuilt in Marunouchi, Tokyo. The pillars and floors are made with plenty of fire-resistant domestic wood. Considering the environment, it is said that the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions can be reduced by about 30% compared to ordinary buildings.
